b) Messages & Media (End-to-End Encrypted)
- All messages, images, videos, and files are end-to-end encrypted (E2EE).
- We cannot read, access, or decrypt your chats.
- Only you and the recipient hold the encryption keys.
c) Device Information
To improve performance, we may collect:
- Device model
- Operating system version
- App version
- Push notification token
- Crash and error logs
This data is non-sensitive and used only for app improvement.
d) Usage Information
We may collect:
- App open/close timestamps
- Online/offline status
- Message delivery status (sent, delivered, seen)
We do not collect message content or media content.

4. End-to-End Encryption (E2EE)
Your communication is protected using strong encryption methods.
Your chat content is always encrypted before leaving your device.
Even though we use industry-standard security, no digital system is 100% secure. We continually improve our protection but cannot guarantee absolute security in every scenario.
5. Media Handling
- Media files are encrypted before sending.
- Encrypted media may temporarily pass through our servers but remains unreadable.
- Some encrypted media may be cached locally on your device for faster performance.
We never access your decrypted media.
6. Data Sharing
We do not share your personal data with:
- Advertisers
- Marketers
- Data brokers
We may share limited technical information with:
- Push notification providers (Google FCM / Apple APNs)
They cannot read your messages.
7. Data Retention
- Encrypted, undelivered messages may be stored on our servers temporarily (for example, up to 7–30 days) to complete delivery.
- After that period, undelivered encrypted messages are automatically deleted.
- Account information stays until you delete your account.
8. Your Rights (With Company Decision)
You may submit requests to:
- Access your basic personal data
- Update your profile details
- Delete your account
- Request deletion of associated data
The final decision on processing these requests, including approval, timing, and method, will be made by the company based on internal policies, legal requirements, and security considerations.

We use industry best practices, including:

- Secure key storage
- Encrypted network communication
- No plaintext message logging
- Regular updates and security reviews
Despite this, we remind users that no digital system is completely immune to risks.
10. Anonymous Chat Responsibility
WhisP is designed for anonymous communication.

- Or any other private detail
We are not responsible for information you share with other users.
11. Children's Privacy
This app is not intended for children under 13 (or local legal age).
We do not knowingly collect data from children.
